Formerl Selous Safari Camp, Siwandu is among the most outstanding tented camp found inside the wide Selous Game Reserve in the southern part of Tanzania.

Located among trees along the northern river banks of River Rufiji within the Selous Game Reserve. The Selous Safari Camp is amazingly located in the center of the incomparable riverine plus the lake complex, and it supports the highest number of bird species plus African wild animals in this area.
This wildlife sanctuary is not enclosed by a fence an in fact no artificial modifications have been made, so this enables the animals to freely move around and even reach the camp’s vicinity.

Selous Safari Camp has 2 dining areas. One is is rested on a hig platform and then the other is set in the middle of several trees and in each of these places you will find comfortable big sofas plus a well stocked library having wildlife literature.
Table d’hote dining area offers the best African themed dishes plus fresh fruits, vegetables plus species native to this area. There is also a well stocked bar having various wines, beers plus spirits.
The Rooms at Siwandu
Selous Safari Camp offers tented suites each raised on a wooden platform, having palm shelters plus amazing views of the surrounding. Each of these tents is designed with most of it facing frontwards to offer guests stunning views plus a windswept experience.
Each of the tents is fitted with a large 6 ft wide double bed, beside lamps plus tables, with inside bathroom facilities that include a double brass basin, a spacious dressing area and a cupboard. There is also a ceiling fan as well as a private shower open to the star lit African sky.
